Altrincham-based health food entrepreneur Rimi Thapar underwent a “tense and eventful” pitch on BBC Two’s Dragons’ Den on Sunday.
Thapar braved the dragons to ask for investment in her health food brand LoveRaw, and introduced the investors to her range of organic, gluten and dairy-free products.
She founded LoveRaw, now a £1million-turnover business, five years ago, using just £600 of her own money. The success of LoveRaw is inspirational, with her brand growing nationally and internationally.
Thapar said: “Being part of the show was an amazing experience – and a great opportunity to show people what we do and the philosophy behind our products.
“We are passionate about creating wholesome food that makes people feel good. The Dragons are great at what they do and having the chance to pitch to them was invaluable.”
