Carringtons Catering has been named as the official new caterer at Cheshire’s Walton Hall and Gardens.
The Grade II listed venue, headed by Warrington Borough Council, welcomed the award-winning caterers on board as part of its plans to transform the estate and enhance its reputation as a leading leisure and corporate destination in the North West.
Directed by husband and wife duo Helen Wynn and Master Chef of Great Britain Darren Wynn, the partnership will see Carringtons Catering responsible for a range of events which will be hosted across several separate spaces, including weddings, conferences, meetings, festivals and open-air theatre shows for up to hundreds of guests at a time.
Director of Carringtons Catering Helen Wynn said: “We are delighted to be working with the prominent and prestigious Walton Hall and Gardens, which truly is a jewel in the crown of Warrington’s parks and green spaces. It has such a fantastic reputation across Cheshire and indeed the North West and we’re so thrilled to be part of its new chapter as 2019 gets well underway.
“We will be working closely with the team to deliver exceptional food for different occasions over the seasons across a number of its impressive rooms, with the building itself boasting stunning décor throughout. To complement the venue, its grounds have also undergone a makeover, creating additional events spaces including the ‘Old Riding School’. The renovated stables now offer a whimsical 6,552 sq. ft location with capacity for up to 400 guests, set amongst breath-taking greenery and manicured gardens.”
Walton Hall and Gardens appointed Carringtons Catering following a competitive tender process featuring an array of well-respected companies from across the region.
Director of Carringtons Catering Darren Wynn said: “This has been part of a great start to the year, which promises to see Carringtons Catering go from strength to strength. We are confident that such success will continue to grow on the back of this new collaboration.
“This partnership is based on our shared values that see us adopt a forward-thinking approach and service-orientated ethos. Whether we are catering for a wedding breakfast or a corporate event, we are passionate about giving guests a truly unforgettable culinary experience with that added taste of excitement to accompany the venue’s luxury offering.”
