Ex-teacher wins Lancashire’s food and drink Best Chef of the year 2019

Seema Dalvi beat off strong competition from well established chefs to scoop the prestigious Lancashire’s Best Chef 2019.

The Judges commented that Seema’s dishes are full of flavours, authentic, homemade and all made using fresh and quality ingredients tailored to your personal taste.

Seema who worked as a Second in Maths teacher at Lancashire and South Lakes secondary schools, decided two and a half  year ago it was time to follow her passion and showcase the true traditional taste of Indian cuisine. Strong belief, ultimate passion and hardcore commitment when dwells within you nothing is impossible. A Mumbai born middle class girl, whose dreams were held back by her dad, family and circumstances, gathered all her courage to showcase her passion for Fine Indian Cuisine and as you know the rest became history.

Dalvi’s Fine Indian Cuisine delivers unique yet authentic handmade Indian food to the Fylde coast, Wyre and beyond using recipes handed down over generations.

Seema says that it’s food delivery but not how you know it! Each meal is hand made and needs 8 hour notice for the aromatic spices, fresh herbs and blends to be created. As a personal chef, Seema ensures each meal is exactly how you want it, be that one of you wants it spicier than the other. It may be that one of you wants it without nuts.

No problem. It’s the joy of having a personal chef make your food and deliver to your doorstep.
