Cheshire-based LoveRaw is expanding its popular Buttercups range to meet popular demand.
The independent company say they have enjoyed huge success since launching its pioneering ‘healthy chocolate’ products late last year.
Billed as ‘good for you, good for the planet’, Buttercups are packed with the kind of uncomplicated and sustainably-sourced ingredients modern consumers demand.
The vegan, palm oil and refined sugar-free treats are already available to buy online, in Boots and in Wholefoods and as of this month are appearing on the shelves in Waitrose and Holland & Barrett.
A new, vegan Cookie Dough flavour has just been unveiled and added to the existing Salted Caramel, Peanut Butter and Hazelnut butter options.
Interestingly, Buttercups aren’t being sold as a specialist product – they’re a mainstream snack that just happens to be healthy.
As CEO Rimi Thapar, explains, the company is proud to be leading the way when it comes to creating a new, market-leading ‘healthy’ chocolate brand: “We are delighted that Buttercups have become such a success. We have almost tripled monthly revenue since launching Buttercups and have been selling out online and in shops.
“We pride ourselves on creating original products our customers love – and food that redefines the market.
“We are confident that our new flavour will be our best yet in terms of sales.
“So many other food products have enjoyed a Millennial-inspired makeover – think craft beer and gin – now it’s chocolate’s turn.
“We want to show people that you can still have your treat or afternoon snack, that convenience and indulgence is very much there, but you don’t have to compromise your preferences or beliefs to do it.”
