Hale’s Marriott Airport Hotel has unveiled its multi-million-pound refurbishment with the help of celebrity chef Raymond Blanc, who has opened a Brasserie Blanc restaurant at the venue and was in attendance on the opening night recently.

Marriot has spent 18 months upgrading the hotel; all 215 spacious bedrooms have been decorated to the highest standard, outdoor areas have been re-landscaped and guests now arrive into a completely new open plan lobby area. The large conferencing and social banqueting facilities have been enhanced and modernised and a completely new executive lounge has been unveiled.

The Brasserie Blanc restaurant offers home-cooked French food with a contemporary international twist and a vast wine cellar, to complement the existing Italian San Carlo’s offering at the hotel. Open every day from breakfast through to dinner, it has a range of menus and features an atrium roof and outdoor terrace.
Located less than two miles away from Manchester Airport, the property is not a ‘typical’ airport hotel: as well as Brasserie Blanc and San Carlo’s, guests and the local community can enjoy top class health and fitness facilities including a pool, fully equipped gym and the luxurious Four Seasons Spa.

Chris Pilling, Hotel Sales Leader said; “We offer a relaxing and welcoming start to any holiday, with flexible luggage and parking arrangements and free transfers to the airport terminals and train station.

“This is not just a hotel for travellers however, we welcome repeat visits from guests who simply want to enjoy our range of top-class facilities. This hotel gives businesses, leisure travellers, and the local community a unique experience, in a great location.”

Mark Derry, CEO of Brasserie Blanc, comments: “We are delighted to be opening our second site within a Marriott Hotel. This is part of an exciting new phase for Brasserie Blanc’s development. The bar, brasserie and terrace are absolutely stunning and we hope it will be a destination for local residents as well as those travelling for business or pleasure.”
