Macclesfield-based Direct Food Ingredients Limited, the UK’s largest privately owned ingredient distributor, have reported annual sales of £21.2 million (year ending 31 December 2017). This represents a huge year on year increase of 22% on the previous years sales of £17.6 million.
The ingredients specialist say that they have continued to benefit from a number of developments including the expansion of its US operation in California, the roll-out of its own-label brand Blue Diamond and the on-going improvements being made in customer service.

The company is an established leader in the importation, storage and distribution of functional foods, nutritional and sports ingredients as well as vitamin and mineral premixes.
